But seriously.  Be careful about falling asleep with music on and headphones in your ears.  I was having a dream and I could hear the music and so I took of my headphones (in the dream) but the music didn’t get any softer and when Cookie was talking to me he sounded all muffled and my voice sounded muffled too, as if I was still wearing the headphones, and for a while my brain tried to rationalize it and then my brain decided that it was just too weird and I woke up and I didn’t even get to eat my pizza.  Plus I couldn’t fall asleep for the rest of the bus ride and instead I had to listen to the freshman shout while playing cards.  THEY ARE SO OBNOXIOUS.

I promised myself that I would start my homework at 8:00 tonight. It is currently 7:55. So let’s see what I can get done in five minutes, shall we?

This blog was last updated on August 2. I doubt anybody’ll read this, because this seems to have died a painful and horrible death from utter neglect. But that’s ok. School has started, so we have distractions, despite the fact that these distractions are better known as cruel and unusual punishment.

Thought of the day: I want to go to college. On Facebook, all sorts of recent high school graduates are posting pictures of their college campuses and dorm rooms, and all seem to be having the time of their lives. The thing is, I don’t know what to do or where to go or anything. I don’t want to deal with the whole hassle of applications and that awful wait to see who’s accepted you and the decisions when you find out where you got in. But I can’t go and have a good time at college until all the stupid applications are finished.

So that’s it. I’ve got one minute to go on my time frame. Let’s see how long it takes for somebody to respond to this.

So this hasn’t been updated in weeks…. Let’s chance that, shall we?

Today, I hurt my foot. Really badly. No, nothings broken, but it hurts like hell (pardon my French [why do people say that?]). I was walking down the stairs and somehow missed the last step. This resulted in me falling onto my foot. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced that much pain before, except for when I had my head concussion when I was eight and living in Germany. I’ve had ice on my foot all day and haven’t been able to do much of anything except hop like a dancing flamingo That is is a flamingo could dance.

On another note, I’ve become thoroughly ticked off at John McCain. Yes, he’s a republican, but that’s not the reason I’m ticked off. I honestly could care less if he was republican, ’cause I’m not voting for him anyway since I strongly disagree with his issues. No, the thing I’m really ticked off at John McCain for is the fact that he’s running a dishonorable campaign that supposedly is “the straight talk express.” What a bunch of bull crap. In case you haven’t been paying any attention, let me catch you up on one of John McCain’s ads. The particular ad I’m talking about is an ad saying that Obama, during his world trip, did not visit the troops in Germany, but instead went to the gym. Also, that he has voted repeatedly against funding our troops. Both of these statements are false. First off, Obama was advised by the Pentagon to not visit the troops in Germany. He visited the troops in Afghanistan and in Iraq without any cameras. The press didn’t even know about it until after his trip. And the picture that the ad has of Obama playing basketball. This picture was of Obama playing basketball, with, get this…the troops. Yes, the troops that Obama is supposedly against. Not only is this underhanded politics by the McCain campaign, but it’s sick. At least make an ad that’s based on facts, not a bunch of lies. Also, to note, John McCain’s voting record, actually indicates that he doesn’t support our troops. I’ll let Keith Olbermann explain the rest:

Hey everyone! Mom’s pushing me to take a ‘fitness’ class this summer, and I’m in the midst of conning her into letting me take a ballroom dancing course. Does anybody want to join me? It’s from July 10 to August 14 at the Center for the Arts, and I have no idea how much it costs or how often it meets. If you want to join me, tell me and I’ll try and find it.

In other news… there’s really nothing to say. Except that SCHOOL’S OUT and now I have a nice Summer to relax in… ah~

Oh! And for the first time the blackberries I planted in the yard didn’t die but are actually producing fruit! Yum!

I’m feeling somewhat burned out.

I usually lack motivation, but this is my usual procrastination to about the tenth power. I just can’t seem to get that school isn’t over yet, and that I’ve gotta stick it out for one more week before I can finally remember to breathe.

Like, right now I’m supposed to be doing a Biology project. And I’m not. And it’s due tomorrow, so…it’s got to get done tonight, but I can’t seem to find the internal stuff that’ll make me sit down and start working. And the thing is, I really need to boost my grade in that class. If that’s not a motivating factor I don’t know what is, but I still don’t care!

And furthermore, I did an Anthropology project earlier today too! So what gives? I found the motivation for Anthro, but not for Bio? And I usually like Biology! I really do! What’s going on here?

And standard deviation sucks. But it sort of makes sense, in a weird way. The standard is minor procrastination, whereas what I’m doing now is definitely deviating from that standard.

So, we all have about two weeks left of school. I find it so hard to believe that, like every year, that time has gone by so fast. At times you think time is standing still and moving by slowly. This year has been one of self-discovery for me and understand. Through this year I’ve realized that grades aren’t anything, that my friends are what important, and that no matter what goes on, most high school teachers still lack in the ability to teach, a fact that I must live with for another year.

I have realized several things about myself this year and about others. First, my grades are not that important, yes I still work hard, but in the long stretch, it’s not everything. It’s more of what I learn. I’m fine with getting a B+ in English because I know I actually deserve it and because I am learning so much in her class. I’ve realized that some teachers just don’t care about us and will give you stuff to study, regardless if it’s not necessary. I have also realized, that there are so many people in this world who view their grades as so important. Yes, they are important, but your grades do not measure you as a person. I could care less if you have straight A’s, because if you’re not a good person, that means nothing to me. People haven’t realized that school shouldn’t be about spitting out facts and figures, it should be about thinking about the world around you. Many teachers, and students, fail to realize that. Through that, I’ve come to care less about my grades. I’ve stopped freaking about tests so much. I’m going to do fine.

My friends are so important to me. I don’t know what I would do without you guys. Regardless of if I see or talk to you often, you are so special to me. I love when we all get together and have fun and just laugh. THOSE are the moments that make me realize how unimportant school in the whole scheme of things is. Plus, who has seven close friends who love each other so much? Hardly anyone. I am so lucky. Not only am I lucky to have you seven, but I’m so lucky to have Andrea, Kiley, and Shirley being my best friends as well. I know you guys don’t know who they are, but I’ve known all three of them since second grade, and I am so close to them as well. I don’t talk to them that often, but I love them so much. Friends to me are so much more important than what I get in school.

I hope this summer we can all hang out more often with each other and our other friends. I love you guys! <3 Here’s hoping for another year of Awesome!

Of course it won’t be as good as the original. Lot’s of fans never even read the first sequel. But anything to do with Howl’s Moving Castle has me freaking out and this is about the awesomest news evarrrr.
